If you’ve always wanted to learn how to create modern calligraphy or use a brush pen but didn’t know where to start, join me for a workshop so we can begin your lettering journey together! Modern Calligraphy Workshop 101
The workshop is a 2-hour session designed for absolute beginners, so just come and enjoy!
The first hour will be covering basic techniques:
how to assembly of a calligraphy pen and ink tools
understanding basic brushstroke techniques
how to write the alphabet in modern calligraphy style in DIP pen
The second hour will be your turn to enjoy the beauty of calligraphy. Don’t worry, you will receive personal one-on-one guidance during your practice.
Perfect for
Complete beginners (you’re serious about calligraphy, or if you’re just hoping to learn a new skill for your future creative projects)
If you have some experience in calligraphy but are facing problems and seeking some one-on-one guidance. Problems may be ink flow, posture/positions, correctly using your tools and more, or
If you have experience in calligraphy but haven’t practiced it in a long time and want to refresh your knowledge and skills with proper guidance.
All supplies are provided!
Light refreshments will be supplied on the day. Class sizes are kept small to ensure personal attention for everyone.

Brush Lettering
You'll learn the basics and drills of modern brush lettering with the tools to help you get started, learning differing pressure levels with brush pens, taking part in drills and drawing letters with intention and more.
It's perfect for beginners from the age of 8!
Each student will receive:

1 brush pen
Personalized name card
1 finished product to bring home
