This class is designed for complete beginners. You'll start by working on exercises to practice making shapes and strokes, and then move on to letterforms. By the end of the class you will have started to create joined-up words in your own style with plenty of time to practice and one-to-one help.

• If you have some experience in calligraphy but are facing problems and seeking some one-on-one guidance. Problems may be ink flow, posture/positions, correctly using your tools and more, or

• If you have experience in calligraphy but haven’t practiced it in a long time and want to refresh your knowledge and skills with proper guidance.

There is nothing you need to bring. The class includes our essential kit of calligraphy materials to use in class and take away with you.
